Among Doubts is a free browser-based social deduction and impostor-style party game.
No download, no login — perfect for friends, family, classrooms, or parties. Inspired by
popular guessing and deduction games such as Among Us, Spyfall,
Insider, Chameleon (The Chameleon), Detective Club,
Codenames, Heads Up, Mafia,
One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Werewolf,
Guess Who, and other group party games.
This free game works on phones, tablets, laptops and TVs. Great for kids, teens and adults.
A modern alternative to classic “impostor guessing” games — ideal for families,
parties, classrooms, game nights, team-building or online hangouts.
How it works:
Players receive a secret word. Impostors only receive the category. Everyone gives two
rounds of subtle hints, and then votes to find the impostor. Impostors can guess the word
at any time. If they guess right, they win; if wrong, they are out.

How the Game Works?
Each player receives a tile with a secret word — except for one or more impostors. They only know the
category, not the actual word. The group goes through two rounds of giving subtle, indirect clues.
After the second round, players vote on who they believe is the impostor.
Impostors can attempt to guess
the secret word at any time: if they guess correctly, they earn a point; if not, they are eliminated. When all
impostors are revealed, the remaining players gain points.
Strategy Tips
Give hints that are smart but not too revealing — your goal is to help teammates without exposing the word to
the impostor. Pay attention to subtle hesitations or overly generic clues from others. As an impostor,
confidence is your best weapon: blend in by choosing clues that fit the category while not being too specific.
Use indirect clues that aren't too revealing.
Listen carefully to others' hints.
As an impostor, stay confident and blend in with category‑appropriate clues.
